True Blood Celebrations

The buzz around the fandom has been infectious. Season 5 of True Blood looks to be pack full of action, twists and plenty of surprises. I think I am truly excited about this season, because it will be far far removed from the books and can finally quit the comparisons.

PoeticJacqueline has coined the phrase Trookie and has a site dedicated to the love of the books and the show. http://proud-trookies.blogspot.co.uk/ I do love both verses and adore both fanfic fandoms. Now with Season 5 it means MORE inspiration for more fics too! WIN-WIN!

Now for a confession. I am truly ashamed of myself. Every year I make sure to avoid as many spoilers as possible. *hangs my head* But last night, I saw on Twitter that HBO made the mistake of posting their Inside the Episode for 1 and 2. I was weak and dove in!!

It won’t stop me from being glued to the telly, but DAMN there are some big shockers!!!

The past 30 days have flown because of the great challenge 30 Day Fang-A-Thon. My inbox overflowed with the collection of fabulous blogs that eased the tension of waiting for the Premiere with great posts about the characters, predictions and pictures. I sure hope that @DarlingSookie brings it back for season 6!!

Join us for a “Season 5 Premiere Party” that will be hosted on the forum June 10th. It'll start at 10am EST (2pm GMT) and end after the season premiere. Yes it's an ALL day event so everyone can get in on the fun throughout the day. I'll have a special section opened that day called Season 5 Premiere Party. You'll have a chance to talk predictions, favorite quotes from the teasers etc. We'll also be posting trivia questions about new characters for prizes. Will have the section opened a little after the premiere so everyone can also put their feedback on the episode. Then it'll be closed and read only for people who didn't make it. Be sure to register to the forum before the 10th or on the 10th before the party ends to participate.
