Just my opinion, but the following site seems to be very user friendly for Fanfic and is underway in a project to be a very good home for Fanfic authors and fans. There are so many fandoms present, although not much True Blood/ SVM stories, yet. Unlike FF.net, it definitely doesn't mind explicit, but is open to all ratings. I do enjoy the flexibility of Live journal, but it is hard to track down new authors and stories.
Readers & Authors, please have a look and let me know what you think.
WHAT IS THE ORGANIZATION FOR TRANSFORMATIVE WORKS (OTW)?
We are a nonprofit organization created to oversee several projects, such
as legal assistance for fans, the fandom wiki Fanlore, and the academic fan
journal Transformative Works and Cultures.
ARCHIVE OF OUR OWN
Currently underway is the Archive Of Our Own project to provide a
noncommercial and nonprofit central hosting place for fanfic and other
transformative fanworks. We are creating a new open-source software
package to allow fans to host their own archives, small or large, which will
have the social networking features to make it easier for fans to connect
to one another through their work. Visit us at archiveofourown.org.
HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?
The OTW is looking for volunteers and always welcomes feedback from
fellow fans! To find out more, e-mail our Volunteers committee at
volunteers@transformativeworks.org or visit our website,
transformativeworks.org, and click on "How You Can Help."
I HAVE QUESTIONS. HOW CAN I CONTACT YOU?
E-mail our Communications committee at
communications@transformativeworks.org! We also maintain updates
on our blog at transformativeworks.org, as well as various journaling
services, Yahoo Groups, del.icio.us, and other networks.
