For all the Trubies out there, give this a read. This author should be writing for TrueBlood. Takes place after Bill is kidnapped and is very true to the characters. Go read it!! I'll definitely be waiting anxiously for updates.

Not From Here by Roux Roux
This takes place before Bill is kidnapped. It completely is out of the world, literally. This is a very creative altenate universe. If you need a break from the books and series, give this a go. The story has been very compelling so far and I will wait until it's updated further before carrying on.
