The 13th Book has been Named!

Charlaine Harris has announced the name of the 13th and final novel in the Southern Vampire Mysteries Series…

Dead Ever After

Hmm wonder what it means…Could Sookie go off with Eric? Could he be her un-Dead Ever After? Or …well actually that is all I really want to think about, to be honest. Any other ending will be a disappointment to me personally. Oh Fanfiction that is why I love you soo much! Eric & Sookie will ALWAYS end up together.

Ok this little Fairy has been busy with a new and fun project with Musings by Char who has come up with a writing challenge that is fun for anyone to join in.

Chronicles of an Adventure is a collaborative event for writers and anyone that would like to express themselves creatively. Though based on the SVM fandom, all fandoms are welcome to join in.

In a nutshell:
A story will be started with a premise (a prompt). All writers are asked to write a chapter based on the premise. All those that submit a chapter will have them all posted and voted on. The winner of the public vote will be the premise (the prompt) to the next chapter and so on until the end of the story.

All creative expressions (banners, pictures, videos, etc) will be welcome too and posted on the site to go with the chapters.
Once the last chapter is finished, there will be a vote for the title of that particular story.

Seasoned writers and newbies are all welcome to jump in at anytime. If you want to be able to show off your artistic side feel free to send in banners, graphics, videos etc. too.

The Preface:

Eric Northman has received a call from his long time friend, Gabriella Calabrese AKA (Gabby) who is the Sheriff of Area 7, Chicago. Her bonded, a human named Mathew Gregorian has disappeared and Gabby is frantic to find him and asks Eric for help. Gabby has explained that their bond has been severely severed somehow and she can tell he’s alive but that’s about all she can tell from the bond.
The only other clues Eric has been able to find so far have been that Matthew disappeared sometime during Gabriella’s rest.

The Deadline for the Chapter 1 entries was last night, and the voting for those entries will begin on the 18th of April~ so stay tuned for the posting of the voting poll.

The winning entry for Chapter 1 will be the prompt for the Chapter 2 Challenge. The Chapter 2 deadline will be the 29th of April. So I hope to see you all join in the adventure!

Hey everyone!
We have been talking about a surprise the past few days but Jacq and I have been extremely busy managing this surprise.
Οn our main site we choose a charity for each month to support. E.J. Scott is running 12 marathons in 12 cities blind folded to raise awareness and money for THE CHOROIDEREMIA RESEARCH FOUNDATION!
In honor of 12 marathons in 12 cities in 2012 we’ve made 12 twitter icons. We discussed who we felt were the top 12 favorite characters from the Sookie books and True Blood show. These were the ones we came up with based on fans opinions and fan sites alike. If you donate a dollar you’ll get your favorite. Essentially “buying” an avatar for a $1 dollar. You may also buy the whole pack for a 12 dollar donation. The paypal link currently is set to a dollar donation. We’ll set up another one where you can send 12 dollars for them all. This will go on until May 17th. After May 17th all the money will be donated on the behalf of the Trookies and the fans. As well as all icons will be removed from flickr and the site. These are made specially and only for this cause. Now we can’t stop people from sharing them once they are bought afterwards, but we did make sure no one can take them without donating.
